
Suzanne was born in London to an American mother and British father. She has worked on Broadway, off-Broadway, in the West End, at the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, the Almeida, The Old Vic, the Young Vic, the Royal Court, the Hampstead Theatre Company, and most cities around the country. Plays appeared in include: Hamlet (three times), Othello, Macbeth, Coriolanus, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, Pericles, King Lear, Antony and Cleopatra (in Washington DC), Nicholas Nickleby, The Three Sisters, Rosmersholm, Bajazet, Creditors, Oedipus, The Cherry Orchard, Taking Sides, Skirmishes, Measure for Pleasure, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, An Inspector Calls, Tango at the End of Winter and, most recently, Mrs Warren’s Profession in Princeton. Awards: Olivier Award, Theatre World Award, Clarence Derwent Award, Evening Standard nomination, Tony nomination. Television work includes: Shine on Harvey Moon (18 episodes), Love Hurts, Love Soup, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Rosemary and Thyme, Absolutely Fabulous, Mr Bean, Inspector Morse, Trial & Retribution, Nicholas Nickleby, Three Sisters, Poirot, and Rome (14 episodes).Films include: The Hunger, Hearts of Fire, Hanover Street, The 13th Warrior, The Upside of Anger, Venice/Venice and the soon to be released Pope Joan. Suzanne has done numerous work on radio and has done narrations, and she also teaches.
