Theatre credits include: Martha, Josie and the Chinese Elvis (Bolton Octagon, Birmingham Rep and UK tour); Us and Them, (Hampstead); Takeaway (Lyric); Cinderella (Arts); The Wind in the Willows (Old Vic); M Butterfly (Deutsches Schauspielhaus, Hamburg); Hiawatha (Royal Lyceum); Miss Saigon (Theatre Royal Drury Lane). As Director of the award-winning Chinese theatre company Mu-Lan Arts, Paul was nominated for a Peter Brook Empty Space Award and a Chinese Community Achievement Pearl Award.
Television and film credits include: The First 91/2 Weeks, Funland, The Marchioness Disaster, The Bill, One Foot in the Grave, Bad Crowd, EastEnders, Dr Terrible’s House of Horrible. In Germany he played the lead role in a nine-episode series, Echt Harder, for RTL. Paul wrote Sweet ‘n’ Sour (BBC) and The Missing Chink (Channel 4).
